DAXXIFY™ has been approved by the FDA to help reduce the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles between the eyebrows. This product contains a highly purified form of botulinum toxin type A, the same active ingredient found in Botox® and Dysport®. Individuals who are in generally good health and wish to reduce the appearance of wrinkles for a more youthful look may benefit from DAXXIFY™. This treatment can be used by those in their 20s-30s as a preventative measure, while those older may find it helpful in diminishing wrinkles that have already formed.
How quickly will I see the results?
You can expect to see results with DAXXIFY™ quickly, typically within one to two days after the treatment.
How does DAXXIFY™ differ from BOTOX® and Dysport®?
The main difference between DAXXIFY™, BOTOX®, and Dysport® is the amount of time the results last. BOTOX® and Dysport® can last for up to 3-4 months, while DAXXIFY™ has been proven to last an average of 6 months or longer for some patients. Additionally, DAXXIFY™ contains added peptides (amino acids) that are not found in other botulinum toxin products.
Is there any downtime or side effects?
After a DAXXIFY™ treatment, you can expect to return to your usual routine soon after treatment with no downtime. In rare cases, some bruising may occur, lasting several days to two weeks.
