Forever Clear BBL is a non-invasive laser treatment that uses broad band light (BBL) to treat acne without the use of topical or oral medication. How Many Treatments Will I Need?
In general, because the results of the laser treatment build gradually over time, you will typically need several appointments to see optimal results. Our holistic approach means that we will customize your treatment plan to the precise needs of your skin. Most patients will require at least three to six appointments several weeks apart to reach optimal skin goals.
How Long Will Results Last?
Most of the time, you can expect the results of your laser system to last for a year or more if you are addressing anti-aging concerns. For hyperpigmentation and sun damage, you can enjoy results for as long as you can prevent new sun damage. As for scar revision, including acne scars, the results of your treatment will usually last several months or years.
What Should I Do Before and After Treatment?
Laser treatments use special wavelengths of light that affect the behavior of your skin cells. This means that you will need to prepare for your treatment by avoiding the sun for at least two weeks before treatment unless you’re wearing a robust sunscreen, as this will help you prevent hyperpigmentation concerns.
